Is this a quote?
No. It is a model-based planning budget from public data (BLS, EIA, HUD, Tax Foundation). Convert each line to firm written estimates before committing.
Why does the rent line only appear for some cities?
We only publish HUD Fair Market Rents we can verify. If a city is not in our FMR dataset, the deposit/rent lines are skipped rather than guessed.
Does it include the actual move?
Yes — the core move is the same model used in our Local and Long-Distance calculators, plus packing, storage, travel, utilities, and cleaning lines.
What about furniture, new-lease deposits, and vehicle shipping?
Furniture replacement, vehicle shipping, and non-refundable lease application fees are not included — add them as line items in your own budget.
